The Step-Saver stair chair is a lower-cost alternative to a residential accessibility elevator, takes less than half a day to install and leaves enough room on the staircase for others to walk by. Safe and sturdy, the Step-Saver will take you up or down straight stairways smoothly and comfortably and can be installed on either side of your staircase.
This classic model comes with a slew of great features, including two remote controls, a foldable footrest, a flip-up seat that swivels and locks in position, two obstruction sensors and an anti-skid foot rest. Its neutral colour allows it to blend in with any decor. Because it's battery-powered, the Step-Saver will even work during a power outage. Although the seat cover is available in both cloth and vinyl, many prefer this last option as it facilitates transfer and cleaning.
